Cape Town

We stayed at the tarragon guest house. Where we also stayed two years ago. We arrived on tuesday morning after and uneventful overnight flight. All rather tired after the overnight flight but in the afternoon we went down to the harbour and walked on the beach. On wednesday 360 chapmans peak drive. We had a walk on Noordhoek beach. Afterwards we visited the local food market and tried some tasty local foods.

On Thursday Denise woke up feeling unwell so we weren’t able to go to Robben Island. Instead we had a lazy day by the pool and a barbecue in the evening. On Friday in the afternoon we visited the Kirsten Boche gardens. We saw some of the plants which are only found in this tiny area of South Africa, and the ancient cyclads which have remained unchanged for many millions of years. We stayed on for a buffet at the Mojo restaurant in the gardens. Delicious food.
